About the Project
The West Entry Parking Structure on the University of California Davis campus added a 1,519 stall parking garage and a 20,800 square foot office building. The building houses the University’s Transportation & Parking Services and Police Department, and includes a new Emergency Operations Center.
This structure is 496,100 total square feet, with six floors, and includes a metal and glass screening material to give a translucent feel to the structure at night. The office building is a two-story CMU and steel structure.
MatriScope provided all special inspections related to:
- reinforced concrete
- post-tensioned concrete
- structural steel welding
