About the Project
The new mixed-use development will restore the historic storefronts on K Street, while adding roughly 70,000 square feet of commercial space and 12-15 ground-floor retail spaces and 137 mixed income residential units of various sizes and rent levels above and behind those facades. The residential units will range in size from studio to penthouse apartments. Additional amenities will include a community room on the upper level of the historic “WT Grant” building, fitness room, underground parking, and residential storage closets,.
The ground floor retail will include locally owned cafes, shops and boutiques. This project, along with the relocation of Greyhound Bus Terminal and success of existing businesses promises to create critical mass in the Downtown Core.
MatriScope provided geotechnical engineering investigation services for the proposed six-story residential building and a parking structure. Services for the project include:
