West Sacramento, CA (December 9, 2020) – The Bridge District Phase 5 is the latest phase in the Bridge District projects on the West banks of the Sacramento River. MatriScope has provided testing and inspections on all the projects in the development in close partnership with Fulcrum Property.

Phase 5 consists of 64 units and 63 parking spaces located near The Barn and across the river from Downtown Sacramento.

Stockton, CA (July 8, 2020) – The Department of Veteran Affairs, Livermore is constructing two buildings totaling 161,300 square feet in Stockton, California. This project includes the construction of a 158,000 SF Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) and 3,300 SF Central Utility Plant (CUP) in Stockton, California. The CBOC will include Primary and Specialty Clinics, Diagnostic and Rehabilitation, and Support Services as part of an overall phased campus construction project over multiple years to meet the requirements of the VA Health Care System. The scope also includes landscape, parking (surface not a garage) and other exterior revisions associated with the utility feeds, cabling, and site work.

SJ Amoroso hired MatriScope to perform special inspection and materials testing services related to earthwork and compaction testing, asphalt concrete paving, aggregate base, site work concrete, batch plant inspection, field inspections, floor flatness, grout inspections, masonry inspections, structural steel, and spray on fireproofing.

Pleasanton, CA (April 24, 2020) – The Carpenters Training Committee for Northern California (CTCNC) is the educational organization that provides Apprentice, Journey-level, and related training services for Union Carpenters and Union Contractors across the 46 Northern California Counties. MatriScope had previously worked on the Morgan Hill Training Center and returned to the team for the newest Training Center in Pleasanton.

The new center consists of a 2 story, 86,000 square foot precast concrete tilt-up. MatriScope provided testing and inspection services for cast in place concrete, mix design review, structural steel in the field and the shop, high-strength bolts, post installed anchors, and wood.

American Canyon, CA (January 9, 2020) –SDG Commerce 330 is a 330,528 square foot wine storage and distribution center (warehouse) on a 15.24-acre parcel at the south end of the 35.85-acre parcel, and a Tentative Parcel Map to subdivide the 35.85-acre into three parcels. The project is located on the west side of the unimproved Commerce Boulevard extension north of Eucalyptus Drive, in the Recreation (REC) zoning district. The wine warehouse will be used for wine storage and wine-related storage and warehousing activities and will have a lot coverage of 49.9 percent. The warehouse was constructed with earth-tone concrete tilt wall panels at an average height of 35 feet. Fifty full-time and up to 30 part-time employees are anticipated. The development includes 32 loading docks, 3 grade level overhead doors, and provisions for future office spaces. ICC Stravinski hired MatriScope to provide services related to earthwork, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel, welding, and wood framing.
